Hello! This is my own personal Digital Garden. The idea of it is that by creating notes and tending to them (updating them, linking them, etc.) you have a “garden” of things personalised for you that helps you understand and link ideas.
Note Categorisation
For me, notes can be one of several types based on what they are. I really only categorise notes within the Knowledge folder as those notes are multiple different types:
Source Notes
These notes are based on an idea from a file from a source. The best analogy for these are basically lecture notes. Source notes do have one thing in common though: they link back to a source. These can be a file(s) in the sources directory, or a website.
Original Notes
These notes are my own opinions, thoughts, or something along those lines about a specific thing.
Portals
Portals are a way of discovering source notes about a specific topic. They are inspired by Wikipedia Portals. You can see a list of portals here.
