Every year, in November and December, an average of 2,200 seal pups is born in Donna Nook and thousands of visitors come to watch them get birthed by their mothers. In 2022, I came to watch them do exactly that. From where I live, it takes roughly two hours to drive down to Donna Nook, which is not too long of a car journey. A trip to London, by car, would take me roughly two hours as well, so in the grand scheme of things, it was not too big of a journey.

Once we arrived, we were greeted by a large amount of other visitors. However, though, it was quite noisy there which could have harmed the seal pups. Luckily, I got some good photos of the seal pups on my phone.

A white seal pup all by itself. Two seal pups together, one larger one and one smaller one. Four seal pups together. Two large seal pups. A wide shot showing loads of seal pups. Many seal pups.
